Your AVCC experience

Dear All,

I was wondering what is your experience in playing with various sources on the AVCC of the Buffalo. I have the old version and I read that the new one is a real improvement, but I was wondering if somebody tried also something different.I am thinking about batteries or the super regulator.

I was hoping for more hints. I guess people are happy with the stock regulator. (I cannot say I am not, I just don't know)

AVCC

The new TPA avcc is well worth the cost. Very nice improvement over the earlier model. As are the new Tridents, Placids, ect. They have made significant changes over the years.

Thanks @bikerboy - I worked very hard tuning and optimizing the AVCC regulator for the B3/B3SE. It was designed from the ground up for that application - so I am glad to see it is a success. 🙂

Hello @All

I'm rebuilding my BII setup and purchased the newest version of the AVCC and Tridents in June 2015. When I was disassembling my BII some hours ago I mixed up the new and old version of the AVCC. How can I distinguish between the different versions of the AVCC?

New version only has one LED.
New version has 2 IC's (SOIC-8)
