For the Thiel CS3.5, the /2 is a drop in replacement for the AF with no crossover changes, so you should be okay. Since the /2 is, so would be its equivalents. I dug up a "Dynaudio Equivalence Chart" that Solen once had on their site, it has their suggested replacements for the /2 with the Scanspeak D2905 leading the pack. You should be fine with the /2, though.
