Just wondering. I've got a pair just sitting and looking for something to do. Thanks.

Pity it has such abysmal efficiency as it looks like it might otherwise be a decent mids driver.
Yeah, it's not great in that sense. Could be worse though as it's a nominal 8ohm coil, so room to play with multiples if you need more output. I quite liked the hex array my friend Colin & I did for his last speaker build. Here 14 x CHN-50 running in 2 x 7-driver series-parallel wired clusters & used as midranges before handing over to a beryllium dome Satori tweeter for the HF and a pair of alloy cone Scan Speak Revelator woofers for the semi-active LF element, for an 'MTMWW' configuration. In his modest room, enough output / headroom to blow the Three Little Pigs' brick house down on any material he's likely to be listening to.

I finally got around to answering my own question. It's been really cold here especially in the garage but, I bundled up and got one finished with the Dayton PC83-8. I used cheap green siding board left over from a neighbor's house renovation project. It sounds amazing for what it is. Cheap fun. Thanks Planet10, Scott Lundgren, and Michael Chua!
