would a 0.7 scale University Classic make it smooth to 500?

posted simplified hornresp sims in the multi-way but no bite

my 7 cubic foot horn based on one of RCA-Fan's published designs reaches about 400 with a Community "buyout" 12. I've not tried it with 12pe32. The horn in the picture below is a modification of this one:http://usr.audioasylum.com/images/2/21168/2Bwith_reflector.gif

just looking for a cute midbass horn toy (as if I needed one) and maybe a short break from Karlson stuff


Sims for 0.7 scale S9/12pe32 with no offset on the driver - will its throat let it go to 500 ~ "smoothly" ?

this 7 cubic foot horn goes lower than the proposed scaled Classic. 25+ years ago I missed a pair of Classics, and ended up
with Bruce Edgar's "System 100"

this is a nice & smooth little horn - if I could ditch a ton or so of cabinets then might have another made -
then again a tiny Karlson is a lot of fun

no lowpass, horn above with Community 12 - in-room - had hoped it would do a strong 70
- not disappointed
