hello,
I speak only about light apparatus not amplifiers : On stage, are you housing your effects in abs or wood flight case ?

i tend to use this https://www.pennelcomonline.com/en/...Panel---Thickness-65mm-14-M876306/m-8784.aspx but as it's expensive i don't hesitate to use a good one side 1/4 inch plywood with the right aluminum extrusion but if you don't have to move your gear then things like covers and butterfly latches can be dispensed with for the sake of economy...a nicely stained wood rack can be dead sexy!!
importing something like this would be expensive https://gatorco.com/product/8u-audio-rack-standard-gr-8l/
Rack mount or flight case be plywood depending on weight.
For light equipment there is composite cases.

hello,my
I had choose gator short cases as many suppliers offer them.
For my 9440 amplifiers, I will take plywood cases, but not choose the brand yet...

ok so at 50 lbs an amp i'd be looking to make a rack with 1/2 inch ABS and double extrusion i.e. heavy duty, gator cases won't hold up unless the gear is stationary.
and if these are going to be moved i'd split them into racks of two rather then four, i'd rather move two 100 lbs racks then one 200 lbs rack!
