Hi Members,
Been away from system design for quite some time and finally getting back into learning again. Not sure if this is the place to ask such a question thus please point me to the correct forum if sent in error.
I have installed WinISD Pro on Windows 7. It seems to run ok except when I try to exit the program an error message pops up that says, "Access violation at 00000000. Read of address 00000000." -end-
Have no idea what this is referring to and have to exit the program via windows utility called "Windows Task Manager" > End Program.
Any ideas on how to fix this error message would be appreciated. Thank you kindly.

I have the same issue. I think the pro version was only a beta release so I'm not surprised it's buggy.
Thank you natehansen66. At least I know someone else has the same issue and its not my computer (hopefully). Good to know. Thanks for the info.
I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit and this is what I did to eliminate the problem.
1) Right click on the shortcut and select "Properties".
2) Select the "Compatibility" tab.
3) Select the check-box for "Run this program in compatibility mode for:".
4) In the dropdown, select "Windows 98 / Windows Me".
5) Click "Apply" then "OK".
XP mode didn't work for me for some reason so I did this and it worked.

WinISD
WinISD work well in windows 7! You must running it as "Administrator" and in compatility mode as win98, It's not working because it's an old Visual Basic application. You should disable visual theme too.

This problem gets discussed every now and then. There is a new version that works properly on Windows 7.

Thanks...I finally managed to download a version that works and it plots simple filter networks with the driver, including GD. I can now extract the GD difference between driver + filter component and just filter component....
