Hello,
One of my friend is helping me with the amp building, but the rating of the transformer is a big time tough task for me to find in hyderabad.
Below is the transformer he is asking for:
transformer for 5 channel amp
24-0-24 secondary / 350VA input 240v
18-0-18 secondary
0-12 secondary
transformer for 2 channel sub amp
35-0-35 secondary/ 350VA
12-0-12 sec
0-18sec
Need some one to help me to do this in DIY Route. Not too technical ..pls
Thanks,
Hari

I've seen at least a couple of these requests here recently. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong... These kinds of multi-secondary transformers are generally made-to-order items. A manufacturer can contract with the transformer company to purchase production quantities and the transformer company is all too happy to oblige. But they don't make them as an off-the-shelf product as a rule, which is why there is such trouble finding them. There are simply too many output combinations to justify the production resources and the inventory used.
So look to use 2 or 3 transformers for each amp and you'll have no problem finding what you need.
