Hi guys just wandering if this would work, I have an amp that uses tip29c/tip30c in part of the power supply, i have on hand tip2955/3055. Just wandering if they will work, Seems to be ok on the datasheet but just wanted to double check.

Yep, looks alright to swap: same pinouts; 2955/3055 specs higher or at least equal in all aspects. Verify correct operation after putting in new part, making sure the higher current gain (beta) and resulting bw and open-loop gain doesn't cause the output of the regulator to ring (normally shouldn't since most PS systems are swamped with capacitance).
