Hi New member here "Hello All"....
Ok I have a few Threshold and audio questions Im hoping you guys can narrow down fo me. Im looking to upgrade my 2 channel system Im currently running 2 Klipsh Forte IIs (w upgraded crites crossovers and twetters) My only source is a Bluesound Node 2 (for FLAC files, Spotify, and Tidal) going to a Peachtree Nova Pre to Peachtree 220amp, using Zu Audio interconnect's and speaker cables. I heard a Threshold in a friends home system and loved the sound and Amp it was a Stasis 3. I don't need alot of watts so Im leaning towards an SA 3, Id like to stay all Class A. I have a limited budget of around $1000. If I replaced the Peachtree Pre n amp could I just run my interconnects from Bluesound (which has an output Impedance of 500 Ohms and 2.2V) to a Threholds RCA inputs? This would save me on a Preamp for the time being if possible. Thanks in Advance

Should work, the SA-3 amp only needs 1Vrms for full output. Just make sure the Bluesound
defaults to minimum volume at startup.

Any other suggestions on which Threshold model or maybe a Forte 4. Again my budget is 1k and I'd like to find one that was updated as well with at least PS caps being replaced. I saw a Stasis 3 on eBay which had full upgrade from Jon S sell for $885. So something in that range I guess.
