Which protoboards?

Hello everyone,

I'm looking for good quality prototyping boards in EU/shipping to EU.

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

I've tried various eBay stuff but was not impressed with the quality.
I'm currently waiting for some boards from Sparkfun which look better made.

So, where do y'all get your protoboards?

The author of Veecad (stipboard cad software) has a links page with this link Strip Board, Prototyping Board, Bread Board, Single Sided Copper, Plain Board, Strip, Ground Plane might be worth a look. I haven't used them, I only buy cheap and nasty stuff 😉 he has a few others in the UK as well VeeCAD Resources

Thing is those cheap and nasty stuff don't take abuse (i.e. changing parts etc.) very well.
They are disposable I guess, but sometimes it's a pain to work on them and you end up hardwiring the parts to each other instead of using the board's pads.

Not to mention that once ready to go into a project, I'm a bit picky about how it looks!
The blue board I posted above looks sexier than the regular brown/greenish stuff. 😛

I'm preferring the cheap ones too!
Phenolic paper boards are easily cut to size, drilled etc. AND the copper pads don't glare!
