Which DIY is comparable to Wyred Dac2 or Zodiac+?

Hey guys,

Apologize if this is an improper forum for this question...😱

Here is my current setup: Threshold 10/e x2 with FET/10 HL preamp connected to mac with itunes+amarra + Apogee duet (firewire)

I am planning to upgrade to the Wyred Dac2 or the Zodiac+ (a friend is selling to me at a very good price)... however, I am always interested in DIY finished products.

are there any DIY is comparable/better than the Dac2 or the Zodiac+?
