What are your speakers, and other associated equipment?
I have some nice DTQWT speakers and I'm also building a horn setup.
Very good locally made DAC and computer front end. Very simple setup...
Cheers

Thanks, but I was really thinking about building my own. Can't see the XS300 as a kit...
M2 is special. Look http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/blogs/tea-bag/203-m2clone-boards-120mm-ums-spacing.html
L'amp v193 choke loaded. 13w single-ended SIT/VFET.

Just need to get your hands on two 2sk82 or 2sj28.
2sj28 you'd have to use a negative supply (as opposed to a normally positive power supply).
Everything is reversed for the negative supply. There's a schematic somewhere.

You can think about build of Schade feedback Burning Amplifier 2015
single-ended 50 watts high gain and damping factor amplifier.
Jensen input transformer and big hockey puck mosfet with his CCS

Another great amp is kit version push-pull 20 watts Vfet Part2.
Have fun 🙂

Yes, definitely keep an eye out for this one. At BA2015, it made a
wonderful pairing with the SAL full range speakers.
Cheers,
Dennis

Mr Rothacher made some fantastic smart small pcb's
attached directly to the mosfets very easy clean build.
Hope we have news and updates 😀

never heard a DTQWT. looking at Troels G's characteristic though, it shows a bit more roll off high up in freq than usual? an F5 amp might be a good match.
for horn setups though, F3 (or ACA) have been a popular choice. F5 vs. the latter two: these amps come from the two ends of the spectrum, the "accurate" end and the forgiving "musical" end. so if you build both you should appreciate the choices/difference. (mind you F3 had a lowish input impedance if I remember correctly).
