What is this dampening called and where can I get it? I need some kind of online supplier.

I have some 4" thick pieces I tested and it works very well for my application.

Home Depot sells Ultra Touch, but you usually have to order it thru their website.

I have seen that in carpet padding sometimes from carpet installation store.

I've bought stuff that looks identical, but it was capillary matting 🙂

I have pulled a lot of that out of vintage Japenese materials.

UltraTouch insulation should be a superior substitute.
