what is the deal with these ubuy Zeff "clarion" amplifiers. I have had absolutely no luck repairing them. The power supply appears to atyipical but the boards also seem to be 3-layered and untraceable. I've had to walk quite a few of them because I don't need the dead weight. One look at the torroids used in the power supplies will remind you Coustic's 460's and 960's very sloppy. Any tech advice on Class G/H would help out alot also.

The amplifier circuits are, in many ways, identical to the older Zapco amps. The service manuals are readily available for many of them. I hate working on them but that's because of the way the case is put together. Too many screws and panels to deal with.
