My favorite so far are Hovland. They probably sound the sweetest and most delicate on the treble.
Hi there
I have had very good experience withe the Solen Foil and Film caps (the white ones). They sound excellent for the (very reasonable) price.

Some people like CDE metal foil, expecially where low end is critical. For me, as long as they are mtel foil or metalized foil, big in size, they would normally be good enough for testing.
I just use wilmslow audios supersound polyprop caps when used with a good tweeter, they sound excellent to me. I cannot really justify using stupid priced caps in a loudspeaker unless someone wants to buy them for me.
I tried Solen PPE, Hovland, Jensen Oil, Multi-cap. The only one for me is Auricap. Very fast and neutral sounding.
I use Mundorf's MCap supreme.
I hear that these caps will sound even better when paralelled with ERO MKP1837 100n, and I have thosem but have not had time to test them yet.
