I'm looking for a waterproof full range speaker for a portable build using a 41hz amp6. I'm hoping for:
- waterproof
- 95db or better
- not too heavy
- won't break the bank
I know, I know, could I ask for anything more 🙂
Anyhow, some help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

DC Gold (former Babb) fullrange drivers are waterproof, but they are expensive and don´t have the required sensitivity. Probably a varnished paper cone in a waterproof sealed enclosure is the way to go.

Efficiency is related to size. You'll need at least an 8' (maybe bigger to get that efficient and keep the cost down. Being a 10 (and efficient) it will be fairly heavy (because it has a big magnet) and will be more transprotable than portable because it will need a fairly big box (unless you don't want any bass).

A compromise could be the 6.5" Hemp in a 30l/1ft^3 sealed enclosure with 93dB sensitivity, but only in small rooms. As you intend to use them open air you don´t get around a bafflestep compensation which gets you down to 90dB max, rather 87dB in free field, unless it stands directly in front of a wall.
Hard to find that sensitivity but you can look here. All marine speakers, 12 pages worth.
