Odd/interesting fact for you carrozzeria is apparently how the Japanese understand us when we say "Car Stereo"

Interesting, but I'm not so sure about that - more likely a reference to the Italian term for an automotive body shop - I recall the term applied to prestigious design houses like Pininfarina and others. (Spent some time in Italy as a kid, but my Italian is more than a bit rusty.)

I googled carrozzeria pininfarina and this is where it took me: Pininfarina

Ciao, Io diche una pocco di Italiano (can't write it for toffee though, only spent 3 months there as a teen)

I must admit my "fact" was read on another forum-though did seem to be from a reputible guy🙂

I regularly rinse boards that have been submerged in water with demineralized water.😱

Difference is that I only need it to work for 5 minutes after I get it going again, and I guess you're aiming for a little longer...😀

I hook it up right away when it is still wet, but putting it in an oven at 70ºC for a few hours, may get rid of the water a lot better. Most components shouldn't have too much issues with this temperature.

If something (components) shorted out due to the water, then that is a different story...
