I think the supply is drying up of second hand units and they are crazy prices. Spares are less common also.
Some slightly less old second hand tannoy co axials appear on Ebay, I think taken from professionals cabs like lynx and puma.
Maybe others will suggest modern alternatives that you can buy new. Do a search here for 12 co axial.

Just a quick FWIW, that I'd take Tannoy Gold money and use it to buy some good PA coaxial speakers. There are some serious performers on the market today.
