here's one source ... evaluation boards

http://www.national.com/pf/LM/LM3886.html#Availability

Of course the thing will probably come fully assembled with all parts. (Not much DIY here.)

You might consider writing National (or a distributor) and see who is making the bare boards for the evaluation kits ... then contact them for a bare board ... could happen, could be easy, maybe not. (National may also have an unassembled version of the eval kit ... or maybe a National engineer has a bunch in a desk drawer somewhere.)

Another source might be one of National's customers who is actually using the boards & parts in production (car audio?) and see if they will give you the sub assembly maker, and get a bare board from them.

If all you are looking for is PCB's, you can buy a kit from Chipamp.com that includes a power supply PCB as well. There is also Mauro Penasa's implementation of the LM3886 that is quite different from the standard LM3886 design. I would say just order PCB's from Twisted Pear Audio, but they are currently out of stock. However, if you are up for a fully stuffed PCB, I am currently selling a fully stuffed board for a 2 channel amp. See here.

If you don't want to spend hours and hours reading the thread about Mauro's amp, I can provide schematics, board layout, technical documentation, and a heatsink drill guide for the amp I am selling. The board includes a speaker protection circuit, and the relay completely removes the "pop" when the amp is turned on or off.
