hello,
a newbie here, first time XO planning. i used the 3 way crossover from the library and tweaked it. i have a few questions hope i can understand the answers 🙂
drivers
T - Dayton Audio AMT Mini-8 Air Motion Transformer Tweeter 8 Ohm
M- Dayton Audio PS95-8 3-12 Point Source Full Range Driver 8 Ohm
S- Dayton Audio LW150-4 6 Low Profile Woofer 4 Ohms
1, can thes XO can be simpler to build? less parts or smaller parts
2. what do you think about the values of the components and the overall graph?
3, can you guess the cost of the parts? rufly

The UI is slightly different now, but you should be able to figure it out. I used this video to figure out how to use the optimizer on the current version vcad. There is also a very detailed manual, which it seems you would benefit from reading in its entirety. It's not a very interesting way to spend your time, but it's worthwhile if you want to make a quality speaker 🙂
Although.. judging from my own experiences... reading it is no guarantee that you will make a quality speaker
This is another video worth watching. he uses sound easy, but the advice translates

You need to pay attention to the unit-prefixes: you have a 18 millifarad cap as highpass for the mid. That's 18000 uF!!!smaller parts
That is also responsible for the huge overlap of bass and mid.
The big peaks/notches around 1-4 k seem strange. Is this the response if your driver? Maybe you need to tweak the baffle? Or your x-over is doing something odd ...
thank you all. i will try learning the program some more.
and yes stv, unfortunately i think the peaks are also on the data sheet of the driver

... also read through the sticky threads in the multi-way-forum to get some technical knowledge. For example you need to consider baffle step.will try learning the program
It may also be a good idea to start with a 2way speaker or a 3way kit or a published project if this is your first diy speaker.
