Vifa D75MX-31-08 replacement?

Hi,

I am trying to find a replacement for some Vifa D75MX-31-08 (8 Ohm) mid range drivers which I believe is no longer manufactured. I have been told that a Scanspeak D7608/920010 is the same driver but I've also read that this driver has a slightly differing frequency response. Can anyone tell me if they are the same?

They are not the same, that's for sure. The former was a hard paper, and the new one is more of a softer textile and has an 'inner grill' to prevent damage.
Both need chambers.

Does it matter much if they aren't? Even the exact same products from different
batches are not completely the same, why bother yourself with such small
details? Not like there is much alternatives to choose from.

Would this be a better option?
