Anyone ever incorperate a variable output impedence into any of their amp designs? Something simmilar to what Rod Elliot describes in his article about that? I'm thinking of adding something like that to my amp, just wondering what you guys here thgouht about it.
Old Stuff
Hi JoeBob, I have some old Yamaha tutorial stuff at work that speaks of a variable Ro Control setup.
I think it relied on a power amp output earth return series sense resistor and and op amp to modify NFB to give a derived apparent variable output impedence - even negative output impedence I think ?.
I'll do a re-read of the article and report a summary back to you.
I'll re-read the RE stuff too.
Regards Eric.
