Valvestate 8080 autotransformer

Hi to you all
Finally got around to joining after months of not having time.
I was hoping someone could help me with the usual valvestate 8080 problem of the auto transformer but my problem is trying to source a replacement.
I was hoping someone might know if there are any available or suitable alternatives out there.
I have tested input voltage into the center pin which is 25.6 VAC but no output to D3.
Thanks in advance for any help or advice offered!!
Regards
Bob

Does the long winding measure open? If so, you might cut it open and see if the connection between the winding wire and the insulated wire to the outside has broken. Might be fixable.

I haven't worked on one of these in a long time, I don't recall the voltge, but will assume 300-350. Which means you need 200-250vAC. it doesn't have to be an auto transformer. A small regular transformer could be wired in its place. Since the current demands are exceedingly small, over here I might chose a 120/12v transformer and run it backwards. I guess a 24/240v would work as well for you and be more available where you are. Just a thought.

Hi Enzo thanks for replying.
Bit of an old amp nowadays but still in demand so trying to keep the old thing alive.
The output windings are open but input read ok. I had thought about using an off board solution as trying to keep it onboard does limit it to an input of 25 Vac from the solder tracks.
Just had no luck in finding anything to fit on board and was interested in the solutions that had been tried.

I have the same amp, same problem, did you find a solution??
