I know values for this part are sort of personal, but the parts list recommends 0.22uF. I happen to have a pair of 0.47uF Auricaps rated at 600vdc.
From what I learned of coupling caps during my Hagtech build of the Cornet phono stage,mA higher capacitance on the coupling cap will result in lower bass extension to some degree.
Are there any negative issues to using these 0.47uF coupling caps?

It may be a good way to perform quick comparisons between different flavor of caps, especially if they're all of the same capacitance.
