Hey tubeman-

I found a little info, here-

UX-CV-11

Looks like it could be an interesting tube to play with. I have some in the UX base ones like you, as well as some with the jumbo 50 watt base (211 type).

I found out on the antiqueradios.com forums that they were used for diathermy. Pretty heavy grids designed to handle grid current.

I will post if I get a chance to experiment with them in my burning man amp I'm working on.

ebay item

I saw it. It is not tested and no return on it. To me that is always a red flag. People sell broken things all the time on ebay and say "unable to test" or "item is as pictured" and it turns out to be junk...and most sellers know it is junk....otherwise they would say "untested - willing to take a return".

Let me know if you change your mind. I am eager to use the machine for health reasons.

Hi, I just stumbled across this post .
I have a diathermy machine complete with 2 of these tubes .
It is going to be a base for a future audio amp build .
Has anyone done this ?
I would really like to see a diagram using these tubes .
I am just really getting started on audio amp building and repair .
So please forgive any novice comments in my furture posts .
