Hi all
Currently I am feeding analogue signals into my Hypex modules (fA253's) via a Yamaha home theatre reciever, using its pre outs. I'm using this mainly because my reciever has spotify and Internet radio. I doubt the preamp in the HTR is that wonderful so I am asking, would I achieve a higher quality using a dedicated streamer /preamp or going direct to the fusion modules through its digital connection? Would a tube preamp have any effect on the sound considering it would then go through A/D and D/A converters ?
It would be nice to just slightly soften the sound of my current speakers, They sound very dry and very resolving but lack a certain amount of body to the sound somtimes.

Should your Hypex modules include digital inputs such as SPDIF Or AES/EBU, you may want to think about using a specialized streamer equipped with a digital output. When compared to analog connections, digital connections may reduce the possibility of signal deterioration.
