I spotted some rather large speakers in a re-run of the 70s TV series The New Avengers the other day and (assuming they're real and not just made up by the props department!) I wondered if anyone knew what they were:

The Tracy Jordan (Tracy Morgan) character on 30 Rock had audio equipment on some shelves in his office. I spent years trying to figure out what it was -- as far as I could tell, it appeared to be Mark Levinson gear. Anyone want to tell me otherwise?

They look like typical Japanese "monkey coffins" of the era, but I could be mistaken.

I started a similar thread some time ago after seeing some Spica TC-50's and a turntable rig in a recent show.
