Turntable speed

I'm trying to repair a JVC TT101 quartz control turntable for my friend. The speed is not constant and sometimes only lock onto 78 rpm. I think probably its some capacitors in the PSU need changing. Any other ideas where to start?? Operating voltages looks okay though.

Change the caps. If there are trimmers check those too,they might need adjusting.

Unless you know exactly what you are doing, leave trimmers alone! At the moment you have one fault - why add more?
