hi
I found some tube amp kit at
RITTER electronic systems--Die Röhrenspezialisten seit 30 Jahren!
I would like to drive my esl panels
with some single-endet triode amp kit (V22 ,V40 )
my system is:
hybrid
2 toroidal transformers 1:65 , ( 2x 230/7 50Va)
regulated bias supply
one speaker consists of
4 panel each 6 inch x 10 inch ( 15 x 25 cm)
and one 16 x 20 inch ( 40 x 50 cm) panel ( I had spare parts so I made this additional panel and would conect all together)
60 mil d/s
a tl with a peerless sls10
coated with elvamide.
so but I'm not really sure which outputtransformers i should use 4 ,8, 16 ohm
thank you for any help
hironimo

there are conflicting demands -- for the woofer, 4 ohms is best (better damping factor).
For the ESL you need to know the voltage swing of the output tube and multiply that by the winding ratios of both transformers to see which one gets you closest to the voltage swing required by the ESL.
