Lynn Olson's Ariel, if you can find the drivers. Alternatively, the Seas Thor kit if you want something with more grunt. However, I really wouldn't build the enclosure as-is, but one of the alternative cabinets for it, which work better (as found by several Thor owners who have tried the new boxes & found a considerable performance gain).
Many thanks for your input, sounds good .Can you help me with website details, price of drivers and details of the revised cabinets.Regards Ian🙂
For the Ariel http://www.nutshellhifi.com/Ariel.html (first hit when you put it into google). You'll have to price up the drivers & XO components yourself though -it's not sold as a kit)
For the Thor, http://www.madisound.com/catalog/ad...=1&inc_subcat=1&imageField.x=0&imageField.y=0
(first commercial seller when you put it into google)
The different cabinet designs are found on the Clarity on Seas Thor thread in the Loudspeaker section on this forum. Quite an interesting thread actually & worth a read.

From over on HTGuide, I have put Jon Marsh's design, the Modula mtm in a mass-loaded tl. I'm very happy with them.
Ignore the ports, they're to receive flares...they're not finished in the photo
An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.
