I just got my BrianGT LM4780 kit and plan to assemble it this weekend. I had a transformer that I had planned to use but now I'm thinking I might want something better. I found this toroid on ebay but the listing doesn't tell much about the actual transformer being sold. Have any or you used one of these and if so how did it work for you? I'm hoping some of you with more experience can tell me whether this will work or if I should look for something better. Thanks.
I suppose at that price they expect you to research what voltage etc it is. Maybe Google the part number or contact Talema.
