Good question, it was originally installed in a DIY NCC200 amp that I bought. There are no manufacturer markings, it's black tape wrapped and potted with an inspection sticker - that's all. I swapped it out for an AST transformer, which gave no improvement of any kind. Doesn't hum and didn't get hot.
