Thin mini itx setup

Have a question about a thin mini itx setup, being a computer noob I really have no idea..
I want to build a tiny computer into an existing case I have, motherboard has to be thin (slim) mini ITX, I have narrowed it down to 2 choices,

I dont game. Basically it will be used a a media PC, used for the occasional Full hd movie but mainly for playing music via a usb DAC, web surfing and word processing. I want to have a bluray drive to rip movies/music to the computer as well.

Any tips?

I don't know for sure but it has been suggested by hardware reviewers that AMD Fusion and Intel Atom CPUs can not handle the Silverlight version of Netflix. Not sure if that concerns you.

Net flix is not really a concern, internet is too slow here for movie streaming, id rather just hire a DVD?BD.
do you think there would be any issues with just playng a disc?

For smooth 1080P playback, 1080p/h264 DXVA capable video card/chipset is a major requirement for you. I think intel NM10 Express chipset board you picked doesn't fall into this category.

I see why you have your requirements now.

You have to consider the amount of cooling too, and with such a case, assume none. Unless you have a drill...

I agree, I use a laptop based on AMD E450 processor, i.e. HP DM1 4108 model, it worked very well, the laptop runs at least 5-6 hours on battery non stop without charging.

I saw some AMD Fusion based PCs being totally fanless and playing full HD movies.

Nice chassis, btw, but I can't see how you can fit a blueray drive in it.
