Finally got to finish the upgrade, had to order again a few parts that were damaged in my first try, installed and working “fine”
However, I have 2 issues:
Ever since I tried the first time around without any success and went back to the small original ps board, there is a “raspery” noise in one channel immediately upon turning on. It last maybe 3 seconds or so. Once the amp stabilizes it does not happen again…
I checked and went over all the solder connections in that channel to see if it was a cold solder issue…
And, I set the relay for a 20 sec. delay to counteract the noise but it still appears upon startup immediately.
Question regarding the relay delay, shouldn’t this delay any sound coming out of the amplifier for 20 seconds, because music plays thru the speakers immediately after turn on?
I have the positive speaker post connected to the speaker connector on the board, is this
Right? Or should it be connected to the negative speaker post?
Any comments suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks.

If you are new to the Forums, you might not have ever seen messages like (msg 1) , (msg 2) , (msg 3) , or (msg 4) . They exemplify the often repeated recommendations about how to make an initial request for troubleshooting advice.
I suggest that you post your photos and troubleshooting assistance messages, in the Forum thread which contains the Theseus PSFILT circuit board, its Gerbers, and schematics. That's where you are most likely to find experienced people who have built and debugged and successfully used a PSFILT board. Those people are the ones who are most likely to offer you knowledgeable advice. The thread is (right here).
