Tda1541a IV stage for sale

Hello,

Up for sale is an abbas audio tda1541a IV stage. It uses 5687 tube and ez35 rectifier tube. Tubes are stock that came with the boards.
I used this on my d3 board and they sound really good. It just has too much gain on my System.

Hi,

Need to remove R32, R33, R35, R36 on the d3 board. Connect aol, aor directly to abbas iv stage.
The abbas board has th on board iv stage.

Hi Sumotan,

I misread your message. I thought you were referring to the D3 distinction board.

So for the abbas board, it has the on board IV stage as I’ve mentioned.

Aaah understand now thank you Tubo so the I/V stage is partly made out of those germanium transistors + output tube. Is this correct ?

Yes. That is based on abbas description. So when i used it on the d3 board, The iv stage on the d3 board was bypassed

Thank you again Tubo. I've played with 1541 for a long time. Always curious about what other recipes there are out there. This Abbas I/V intrigues me. Looking at the parts especially those AB resistors it must have be sounding organic & a little vintage ?

It sounds natural with deep bass and good prat.
i have abbas dac 3.1 and it does sound very natural. i would say on par with my audionote dac 5. abbas dacs are very good sounding..
