Taramps 8k

Hey all. Got in a taramps md8k with a blown power supply. Been sussing all the issues and found a blown IC. Blown beyond recognition. Can anyone tell me what 8 pin IC is used here?
IC3 location. Also has 'disp' next to it.

Forgot to add i also found this part faulty. Is this truly a PIC??

UCC27524DG on the MD8000.1 diagram. The image is too low resolution and the board not clean enough to see the supporting components to confirm.

There are 8 pin pics but I don't see one in this amp.

Hopefully these are more clear.

I pulled an 8 pin IC off the board and the numbers are PA40. That comes up as a PIC?

Is the model number the one I posted or the one you posted?

What's the circuit board designation of the IC in question (PIC)?

The location of what I believe to be the PIC I'll post. U will see a little white arrow pointing to its location.

As for IC3. I have no idea it's blown to pieces

You didn't answer the question about the correct model. IC9 is possibly a regulator TPS7A6601 marked PA4Q

Why do you think it's defective?

Just to let u know my progress.So far all power supply fets are blown and are cut out of the board. Amp draw was 1.5A (no ps fets)

I found 2 4R7 resistors that were blown. (Been replaced)

Amps red light was just flashing. Then I found the 2 faulty ICs. Removed both from board. (Amp draw now down to 0.1A)

I noticed earlier I was getting +15v on the test pin (marked +15) but now only getting 8v. Also getting 8v on the large voltage regulator.

Since removing ICs. Red Light no longer flashing. And only seeing 8v on the +15.

IC chips were getting hot.

Do you see a square wave on the output pins of IC1?

No square wave. Just 8v on some of the pins

That's with no IC in position of IC1. Do u want me to put the IC back in?

I can't see a marking on the board to indicate which way the chip goes?

pin 3 is ground.

If u look at the photo of IC1. The bottom pins(in photo orentation) pins 1 and 4 are ground according to my continuity test.. pin 3 is not ground.

None of the top pins show ground

IC9 the the 5v REG for the micro TPS7A6601
