Tantalum Capacitor Polarity

I'm going to try tantalum caps for the input dc blocking cap on my chipamp LM1875 amp just out of curiosity. I'm curious to know what Naim sees in these. Anyway, I guess they have a polarity. Which way does the polarity work for an input cap? I assume negative towards the input side and positive towards the amplifier circuit side?
 
Unless the input is perched at some DC level, I would not use polarized caps at the input myself.

Caps with polarity care about it with respect to themselves. They are not too concerned what you are doing, but if they are connected between something at zero volts and something with +10v, then the + end goes towards that +10v. They want the more possitive side of the circuit at its + end and the more negative side of the circuit at the other.
 
Solid tantalum are said to be less fragile and in both case wich such low voltage I will be surprise a tantalum could burn in a low voltage path signal if you talk about input signal from the source.

In case of input signal from a source, you should compare the tantalum with two Elna Silmic 2 in serie with the reversed polarities like that : - + + -. Note here a + - - + give the same result.

The capacitance is divided by 2 with such arrengement. E;G if you need 22 uf put two 47 uf in serie.
Find more better than a Nichicon ES bi-polarised...
