Tang Band w6-2144 driver vs dayton audio ps180 impressions or thoughts?

Hello everyone. I am already looking at another project to start. I am looking at down to 6 1/2 inch and not 8 inch due to me adding a sub to the lower end. The three drivers am looking at is the;

1. Tang Band w6-2114 drivers.

2. Dayton Audio ps180 drivers.

3. Audio nirvana super 6's? ( I know nothing about them or have I heard one but, the super 8's years ago on low volume at a a.k. fest?).


Doing something different then fostex on this project.
I will be using them in a book shelf style box. They will be for normal listening for everything. So other then that just looking at all my options? Please leave know what you think? Jeff

I am surprised that no one has used either of these drivers or has any experience with either of these drivers? Jeff

Parts express sells the dayton PS-180-8 is a 6 1/2 inch fullrange driver. Part number # 295-344.

Parts express also sells the Tang Band w6-2114 a 6 1/2 inch fullrange driver. Part number # 264-959.


I hope this clears up the model numbers of the drivers and the catalog number at parts express. Thanks Jeff
