Hi all. Time for another dumb question. If I put a 1.8 amp load on a 2amp filament winding on a Hammond 369BX transformer will I experience any long term problems or do they (Hammond) give you enough safety margin to deal with it?
We're assuming that this is an AC load, not a rectifier providing 1.8A dc to a set of filaments - if so you are fine, if rectified you're pushing your luck..
