Hi, I've ordered one of these amps:
Sure Electronics' webstore 2 x 30 Watt Class D Audio Amplifier Board BT 4.0 APT-X - TPA3118
I've also ordered 3 x panasonic NCR 18650B 3400mah cells to make an 11.1V battery for it and a 19V 4.74A 90W smps to power it.
The amp board has an in built lithium battery charger but I know I should build a 3S protection module into my 3 x 3.7V battery.
Can someone advise me what minimum continuous discharge current rating I should look for in the battery protection module? Is it as simple as 60W / 11.1V = 5.4A or is there a higher burst current to cover? Thanks.
