Greets!
Some factory cabs to show construction details, driver specs to compare with modern prosound drivers, then use this math to calculate basic box size and tune to Fs.
T/S max flat alignment:
Vented net volume (Vb) (L) = 20*Vas*Qts'^3.3
(Ft^3 = (Vb)/~28.31685)
F3 (Hz) = Fs*0.28*Qts'^-1.4

The sensitivity of your mains or additional woofer is not that important as the woofer you will bring on board will have its own amplifier. Just make sure that the new woofer is at least as large as the cone of your mains.

I tried to get the response as wide and flat as possible with simple whole numbers like 16", 24", etc. since the 604-8G has 1,500hz filters.
I was just ‘nerding out’ that you found a box (and funky port shape) that coincidentally was half as long as the null it prevented
