I’ve got a poorly Audiolab 8000P power amp that shuts down via the speaker protection relays after about 2/3 minutes. I’ve replaced one of the relay in one channel and a 2k2 2W resistor in the other channel: no improvement. Then I found a 2SC2911S loose on the PCB. I reflowed that and there was an improvement to around 10 minutes before it shut down. I’d like to replace these and the PNP version (2SA2909S iirc) but I can’t find them anywhere from the usual places. Are these unobtanium?
Any guidance regarding this would be greatly appreciated.
