I just ordered 8 of the SA071 woofers @ $10 each and 5 of the SA-TW1 tweeters at $7 each from Stryke, they were both on sale. I'm probably going to try the mtm design on this page here, but does anyone know of any other designs using these drivers? Also could anyone comment on the quality of these units? Thanks for the help.

Ask Stryke for designs. They'll set you up best.
That link you posted looked weak. Multiple crossovers mentioned, yet no acknowledgement of the effect that the 2 different MTM cabs would have on the xover. I would trust info from Stryke more than that.

As for quality of the units, they're built well. I currently use the SA071s in a dipole (works very well, quality unit, expecially for the price) and have more SA071s and some SA-TW1s that are going into ported TMs soon.
They do have one design posted on their site, but it's for a 2-way tm and I'd like to build an mtm. I I posted on their message board over at stryke so we'll see if anything pops up. There doesn't seem to be much activity at all over there so I guess we'll see.
No, that board is pretty dead. Just email their contact account. They'll get back to you eventually. I did it that way to request a small line array design that they mention on the website, but don't actually show.

John has worked up quite a few designs for these drivers. They are very good value. The midbass, as with any stiff cones, has some peaks to tame, but i believe John has come up with some mechanical fixes as opposed to leaving it to heavy-handed XOs.
