Did anyone here stripped their L1530s succesfully?
I'm looking forward to see some instructions or tips to it cause i have a VERY LIMITED budget for this project, so I have only one shot, if I break the thing I have to give up for atleast a year.
Thanks in advance.

dude, choose your lcd wisely man.
i went through 4 !!! even after beind told the NEC 1530V is diy friendly, so i get the thing, and it has a philips lcd. which is the worst DIY one possible... LOL
my only advice is get 4 other people to all agree on one being diy then get it and pray to sweet jesus.

Just adding that I still haven't bought the LCD, but this model has been around for awhile around here so it's easier to find.
Yeah, i replied my own topic saying that i haven't buyed the thing yet, but I'm under moderation for a few posts cause I just registered.
So I haven't bought the LCD yet, and most of the models people talk about here I can't find where I live.
For 15"s, the most offered LCD's around here are LG and Samsung. A few AOC and Waytec also.
So the best bets I have are LG and Samsung, and the models I found here are very different from what I can find on sale, with the exception being the L1530s by LG.
So my question can be more generic including stripping the LGs and Samsungs.
Thanks for the answer, I'm still in the search for the perfect (or should I say easier to strip) LCD monitor.
