Static problem with DIR1701e

I have an static problem with a DIR1701e, it seems that this receiver
is very sensitive for static. does this sound familiar

I use the digital output of a cd-rom player connected the spdif output to an dac
Each time I hear some static tik, even when the cd Ron is stopped
