Hi Guys got this amp in last night. No sound and amp went on even without remote wire on. I found that the previous
Repair guy bridged pin 11 & 12 of TL494 and that made the
Amp power up with no remote being applied. Then the no
Sound issue was the bar that runs from the output inductor
To the speaker terminal was badly blown loose then i repaired that issue the amp has sound now but i noticed some transistors gets extremely hot As well As the voltage regulators Tip41 & Tip 42

Voltage regulators sometimes run hot. Some will fail catastrophically within seconds if not clamped tightly to the heatsink. Is heating the only reason you believe that there is a problem?

Hi Perry yes it's only 2 transistors getting hot but the amp plays well i put the board back in the heatsink and that eliminates the regulators getting hot
