Today I tried to play some music on Foobar and JRiver.
Sound was not so good as on my SB Touch with external power supply.
I was thinking that sound with Foobar will be equal or better that SB.
Why???
Anybody else try to compare SB vs Foobar or JRiver?
Only source was changing the rest of system was the same.
DAC is Buffalo IIISe with Amanero board.

How did you managed to run Foobar and JRiver on SB Touch?!
Otherwise you've compared hardware, not software.

Foobar and JRiver was installed on my laptop.
That right, hardware was different, but I did not expect Foobar from my laptop to play worse than SB.

So, given there is no effect of software-introduced-jitter (since you're using amanero) - there are 2 reasons for SB to sound at least different:
- Ground loop (thru mains).
- Noise, common/differential. Laptop should be noisier unless the SB is really bad on EMC front.

Have you tried your laptop with/without mains supply plugged? Any other devices connected to laptop (like monitors)?
This way you could check whether it's ground loop or noise problem - and fix it accordingly.
