Is there any commercial product that is low cost {$200 or less }
or any DIY projects to build a higher SPL microphone for loudspeaker
adjustments at higher SPL levels than normally used to test
loudspeaker performance? I seen the Linkwitz website that shows
the microphone modification to get higher SPL but nobody makes
mention of how high the SPL is. I'm looking for cheap solution that
will handle 140dB full range but I don't need super accuracy.

Sounds like you want a car audio SPL meter which may not necessarily be what you want overall. ~$1000 US
(servodrive.com)
termlab is $400
Little bit OT, sorry, but don't want open new thread. Can't find supply for WM-61 here. Is there anybody who has experience with a MCE electret cartridges? I want substitute WM-61 with MCE /2000, 2500, .../ completely. Including the reconnecting FET as source follower for higher useable SPL and lowering distortion.
