Spherical omni directional vintage speakers

Check out these RCA Victrola omni directional speakers i picked these up 15 years ago and was going to change the drivers to modern ones. They take two 5" and two 3" per hemisphere. They are 13" in diameter. They hang from the ceiling or sit on stands. i Dont want them to go to waste so i am putting them in the swap meet so someone can have a nice project. No but they had been opened up before i ever owned them so maybe at on time they did.

How is this omnidirectional, when one tweeter is pointing only one direction?

^Marketing! Omni enough for that. Those were propably meant for ambient music in halls, shops etc.
