I have been doing some simulations of tube amps with LTSpice. So far I have been using just plain 8ohm resistor as load, but I think this should be replaced with something better. What kind of circuit would be good approximation of a real speaker from amplifier point of view?
Another thing I have been wondering is how much output transformer H/B -nonlinearity would affect the results. I have been just using inductors coupled with realistic coupling coefficient, but this don't take account the core saturation. Is there even any way to easily simulate core saturation with LTSpice?
